I have always believed that marketing promotions were widely spread but not very well executed. Marketing marketing in some ways is a fairly fine plan for a large variety of things. If you are willing to spend a few thousand dollars giving away free drinks in a crowded community place, people will absolutely love you. Even if you are giving out something that does not strictly go together with the weather - such as a salty snack - people will still be appreciative as long as they get some water with it. If you can catch people at an unguarded minute, you can acquire their brand loyalty before they even know what hit them. That's what successful marketing campaigns are all about. Leave the brand-name pens in the home!
